FLE
This class is dedicated to children wishing to learn French as a foreign language. The main objective of the class is for children to understand and express themselves in French and the focus is on everyday conversational language.
We are using a manual based on Montessori approach to ensure fun and creativity are at the heart of the learning process.

FLE 1 - beginners
The main focus of this class is to get the children to discover French vocabulary by family of words.
Situations relate to daily life: animals, body parts, numbers, colors, seasons, alphabet, months, days, instruments of music, house, means of transport …

FLE 2 - INTERMEDIATE
The main focus of this class is to get the children to use words and typical phrases expressing who they are, what they like and how they feel and to develop their French vocabulary by family of words.
Situations are linked to feelings (i.e. anger, joy, etc), sensorial worlds and daily life: what they hear, what they taste, smell, see.
The teaching approach encourages the children’s participation through songs, games, crafts, drawings and notions of basic written French.

FLE 3 - ADVANCED
The main objective of this class is for children to understand and express themselves in French.
Children are encouraged to talk about themselves, their tastes, their environment (family and school), their plans, fears and preferences.
The focus is on everyday conversational language. The children learn to talk about where they come from, where they live – we also focus on how to ask basic questions – talk about the weather…
Each child has his own notebook for lessons and homework as well as a smaller notebook (we call it “vocab book”) for vocabulary.
