Classes
Les Crocodiles offers language lessons on Saturday mornings to children aged between 6 months to 15 years old. Les Crocodiles also offers opportunities to prepare for exams such as DELF and GCSE French as well as Adults Tuition for parents and Private lessons on demand.
The school is supported by the FLAM programme (French as a native Language) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
THE FLAM CURRICULUM (FRANÇAIS LANGUE MATERNELLE)
To access the FLAM curriculum, the child must be at least 3 years old as of 1st September and has at least one French-speaking parent or lived in a French speaking country long enough to be able to understand and/or express him/herself in French. When joining, the child will be evaluated during 2 weeks to ensure the FLAM curriculum is adapted to his/her needs.
Our FLAM classes are designed to apprehend the French language or to consolidate oral and written French. They follow the French national curriculum. Rhymes, stories and games stimulate little ones to express themselves and have fun. The classes for toddlers focus on the discovery of sounds, writing, comprehension and reading by learning about different types of literature. The most advanced children learn grammar, spelling and conjugation using creative methods and are introduced to the richness of French culture.
